What data we receive when you contact us, what we use it for, and how you can access, correct or delete it.

Who is responsible.

The data controller is Soledad Facchetti, operating under the trade name S&F COMEX, in Argentina. For any privacy matter, email info@sfcomex.com.ar.

What data we receive.

• Contact form: name, email, the product you want to trade, approximate quantity, country of origin or destination and stage of the operation.
• Cost calculator: product, country of origin, tax status, goods and freight values, name, company (optional), WhatsApp and email.
• Inquiry assistant (chat): the messages you write in the conversation.
• WhatsApp and email: the details and messages you send us through those channels.
• Browsing: site usage statistics (pages visited, device type, traffic source) through Google Analytics, configured without Google signals or ad personalization.

Fields marked as required are needed to answer your inquiry. If you do not complete them, we cannot process it through that channel, but you can still email us.

What we use it for.

• Answering your inquiry and, if you ask, preparing an analysis or a service proposal.
• Following up on that same inquiry.
• Providing the service you hire.
• Understanding how the site is used, with aggregated statistics, to improve it.

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for purposes other than those listed.

Who we share it with.

Only with providers that help us operate, and only as needed:

• DonWeb: website and email hosting (Argentina).
• OpenAI: processes inquiry assistant messages to generate answers (United States).
• Google: site statistics with Google Analytics (United States).
• Meta: if you message us on WhatsApp, under that service’s terms.

If you hire a service, we will share with customs brokers, carriers, warehouses or public agencies only the data essential to carry out your operation. Some of these providers are outside Argentina; we work with providers that apply appropriate security measures.

How long we keep it.

For as long as it is needed to answer your inquiry, follow up on it or provide the service you hired. After that we delete it, unless a regulation requires us to keep it longer.

Your rights.

You can request access to, correction, updating or deletion of your data, and opt out of our communications, by emailing info@sfcomex.com.ar. We answer access requests within 10 calendar days and correction or deletion requests within 5 business days, as required by Argentina’s Personal Data Protection Law 25.326.

Data subjects may exercise their right of access free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown, under section 14(3) of Law 25.326. The Agency for Access to Public Information (Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública), as the supervisory authority under Law 25.326, handles complaints from anyone whose rights are affected by a breach of personal data protection rules.

Cookies and statistics.

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to count visits statistically. You can block or delete them in your browser settings without affecting your use of the site.

Security.

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to inquiries received is restricted to the people who need them to answer you.

Changes to this policy.

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its update date.
