Before paying your supplier

How much does it cost
to import into Argentina?

Which costs to review and how to compare quotes covering the same shipment.

The product price is the starting point.

The total cost depends on the goods, origin, quantity, transport and delivery point. Ask for a quote that explains what each amount covers and what is still pending.

01

Goods and origin charges

Supplier price, collection and origin charges, according to the agreed terms of sale.

02

International freight and insurance

Freight, insurance and other applicable charges along the international route.

03

Customs charges

Duties and interventions applicable to the product and the type of operation.

04

Destination charges and delivery

Terminal or warehouse charges, local transport and delivery to the agreed destination in Argentina.

05

Professional fees

Analysis, customs coordination and the services included in the agreed scope.

Not every charge applies to every shipment. If an item is already included in the supplier’s price or freight quote, avoid counting it twice.

Compare the same route

A port delivery and a warehouse delivery cover different things.

Before choosing the lower figure, check that both quotes use the same destination, shipment details and included services.

What can change an estimate?

Quantity, packaging, route, shipping date and delivery point can change a quote. It also helps to clarify how any storage or delay charges would be handled.
